According to WHO (World Health Organization), 10/10 is World Mental Health Day
The goal of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.
The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.
So mark your calendars to participate! Be intentional about your overall health. Here are three things you can do on this day to be more intentional.
Reflect on were your overall health is now and some ways you can improve it.
Focus on you and only you, take the day off from work, make an appointment with a therapist if possible.
Get to know your mental health community! look at what services are offered in your community to support health and wellness.
